Child Having Fever. Getting Temporary Relief From Calpol. Is This Due To Pulse Polio Vaccination?

Question: My son is 1 yr 3 months old. He is having high fever since morning. Had 1 dose of colpol early morning. It subsided for a couple of hours and has temperature is high again. We will be visiting a doctor in a couple of hours. My question is .. we gave him pulse polio vaccination yesterday ... can that be a cause here?

Pulse polio vaccination received by your son yesterday is NOT a cause of his fever.
Oral polio vaccination does not cause fever.
