Question: Hi! Just a quick question- i go to phyiscal therapy 3x per week for neck, shoulder and back pain. I also have cervigenic dizziness/vertigo from a neck injury. Ive been doing vestibular therapy and have had manual therapy to my neck. Now my questiin is when the therapist works on my shoulders iand arms can that make my neck worse? Or would massage of the shoulders have nothing to do with the neck? Thank you

Brief Answer:
No, no harm done.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for coming to our site again for your health related issues.

Regarding your question on whether physiotherapy aimed at the shoulder area can have a negative effect on another area, I would say the answer is no. It doesn't have any negative effect for the neck, no worry.
