Can Liver Pills Cause Lactic Acid Build Up In Muscles?

default
Posted on Tue, 7 Oct 2014
Question: I was recently diagnosed with anemia and was referred to a hematologist for lowering WBC; however, the wait has been long to get in.

I workout 90 minutes per day cardio / strength training; however, I've been completely unable to finish my workouts only getting about 20 minutes into before feeling extremely exhausted and light headed (like I might faint). I wonder if it could be lactic acidosis as I feel ok the rest of the day other than when I workout. When I workout these days, I fell terrible?

I recently began taking beef liver pills to supplement my anemia; could this contribute to lactic acid buildup in the muscles?

Again, other than when I exercise, I feel ok?

Please help?

Brief Answer:
Your anemia may be responsible for early fatigue

Detailed Answer:
Hi, dear
I have gone through your reports. I can understand your concern.
You have anemia so your blood oxygen carrying capacity is low. So its quite obvious that body start anaerobic metabolism and produce lactic acid as end product.
So you should take treatment of your anemia. Kindly go for complete blood count and peripherals smear examination and take treatment accordingly.
