Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Although I can't tell for sure, I can confirm that these drugs may indeed raise the liver enzymes. Slight elevations on liver enzymes are more commonly caused by fatty liver. Patients with hypertension are more often overweight or obese than normotensive individuals. Being overweight promotes fat deposition on the liver.

Further testing is required to exclude various causes of hepatitis and to confirm fatty liver or blame the drugs.

An ultrasound scan of the liver should suffice to demonstrate fatty liver if this is indeed the case. Other blood tests need to be done to investigate potential liver damage.

ALT , AST, ALP, gamma-GT, antinuclear antibodies and antibodies against hepatitis B and C would help. Regarding hepatitis B HBsAg, antiHBc IgM/IgG and antiHBs are sufficient to start with.
