Can Follicle Quality Be Assessed Through An Ultrasound?
Question: Hi..i got married in 2015 may n got pregnant in august but unfortunately miscarried due to no fetal cardiac activity in october 2015.
Later v tried from may 2016 but no luck to conceive.
Later fpund out that my follicles were not good quality to fertilize.
Today cycle day 11 n my follicle size is 2.45cm in left ovary and 1.84 cm in left, can u plz help me to know r my follicles in good quality if so when is my chance to ovulate

I think it is difficult to assess the follicle quality on ultrasound. Some parameters like perifollicular blood flow can be measured. But it can only be confirmed by taking out the eggs from follicles while going for IVF.
If you are undergoing ovulation induction with timed intercourse for conceiving, you can take injection HCG 5000 IU now as follicles have grown to size more than 17 mm. Be in contact with your husband for next 2 days.
Get a scan done after 3 days to confirm the rupture and take progesterone for next 2 weeks. Do a urine pregnancy test after that.
