Hi, I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I have read your query in detail , I understand your concern.

In a diabetic person following blood test are recommended as a routine evaluation:
1. Complete Blood Count
2. Kidney and Liver function tests
3. Fasting Lipid Profile
4. Glycosylated Hemoglobin (HbA1c)
5. Thyroid Profile
6. Urine for Microalbumin
7. ECG , Chest X-ray
8. HsCRP
9. Fundus examination for Diabetic Retinopathy.

All these tests would give an idea of all the basic systems that can be involved due to diabetes.

This is my personal opinion based on details available here. If you still have any other query, you may please ask me.

Brief Answer:
ABO typing.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX XXXX,
These tests are relevant for Diabetes , general health check up as well as cardiac issues.
To know your blood group you can ask your pathology lab to perform ABO typing also known as Blood grouping.
As far as marital tests are concerned, blood groups should be matched for both the partners and if both partners wishes then HIV test can be performed with mutual consent.
I hope it helps you.
