Brief Answer:
Slightly high

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome to HCM.
First, this is slightly elevated liver enzymes and you should not be very concerned since it may have been caused by acute or chronic alcohol intake. Some serious diseases such as cirrhosis or hepatitis go with much higher values. However, follow up test should be done and you should avoid alcohol till this. It would be good to do liver ultrasound more to see possible liver damage such. as fatty liver or alcohol induced hepatitis. Wish you good health. Regards

how long should I wait to be tested? My last test was four days ago. I Also
forgot to mention that due to sciatica I Have been taking advil (3) twice a
day and stopped it after hearing my results. I also take wellbutrin and celexa
as I recently lost my spouse of 40 yrs. I do not know if any of these meds could
have also lead to my lft results. Thank you, XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:
hi

Detailed Answer:
YOu should wait for 4 weeks.
Advil should not cause elevated liver enzymes if taken for shorter period, till 2-3 weeks. If taken for longer than this, it could cause liver enzyme elevation.
Welbutrin and celexa can both cause elevated liver enzymes and you should consider reducing its dosage if such findings persist.

Brief Answer:
follow-up

Detailed Answer:
Hi again,

These findings are completely fine and you should continue with healthy diet. You should drink enough fluids but not too much of any carbonated drinks. Also, you can take some supplements that protect liver such as Silymarin.

But I think that liver markers will stabilize till follow up.
