Brief Answer:
Should not be used for long.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney.
I understand your concern.
Telakast-L kid contains Levocetrizine and Montelukast.
This drug should possibly be avoided for long term use.
We do give it for long term but only if severely needed.
I personally don't prefer to give this medicine for more than 2 weeks.
It can cause sedation, drowsiness, temporarily memory problems. There are cases in which people who have taken the medicine for long have developed Churg Straus's syndrome.
So discuss with your doctor before you continue it for more then the prescribed limit.
If you have any further query, please ask me.
Stay Healthy.
