2.HbS Ag.
3.HCV.
4.HIV 1and 2.
5.Herpes 1 and 2.

These tests are the basic mandate. They are available at all local nearby diagnostic centers.

Review with test reports.

Answered by Dr. Prasanna Heijebu (12 hours later)
Brief Answer:
Results will be 90% accurate if you take the test now. That is Good.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir.

I apologise for the delayed response.

I understand your concern.

HIV can be transmitted by any route which can involve the transfer of sexual fluids-Oral sex can also transmit the disease if the secretions contain the virus.

Results will be 90% accurate if you take the test now.But you need to retest after 3 months considering the window period of viral detection.

You can straight away consult the doctor and express the concern. You need not worry about it.

You can consult any Internal Medicine Or Infectious Disease specialist.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Upload PCR results.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir

I understand your concern.

Please upload your PCR-RT test results.

I will comment once taking both P24 and pCR test results together.

You are relatively safe at this point of time. You are safe by 95%

For confirmation, tests have to be repeated(as earlier said in my previous responses) on day 90 and 180 from the day of the sexual encounter. If all the tests are negative, then only we can say you are 100% risk-free.This is the protocol established by CDC-USA(center for disease control-United states)

Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Clarification provided.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir.

I understand your concern.

PCR is the most important test. You should not miss it.This test directly measures the viral DNA.If it is negative, then you can comfortably rule out HIV with 100% accuracy.

P24 is used for immediate knowing if you have contacted the virus or not.

PCR is the confirmative test.

Please note ELISA is a different test.

Hence for accurate results- you need to have both PCR and ELISA after P24 in your case.Only PCR and ELISA have to be repeated on day 90 and 180.

Review with test reports.

Thank you.

hi doc
Sorry to make the conversation again longer.

I m on fully stress and I accept I made a mistake. Even I contacted that massage center girl and asked whether you have hiv she promised and said she don't have n ready for test at any time. But I didn't ask her take test.

So some confirmation to come out from the stress I am ready to take tests.

Doc please help me again going for test making me so much afraid.

By p24 we can get that I didn't contacted the virus(9 days).
In between if I get fever whether I need to worry. Please explain some ways

Brief Answer:
Be Confident,hope for the best.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir.

I understand your concern.

I appeal to you to stay calm and focused.Do not take any stress.

Fever can be attributed to multiple symptoms, not alone HIV.

Do not overthink at this point of time.

p24 capture assay keeps you out of risk up to 90% on a short-term basis.

Get PCR, this will help the test to be accurate and scientific both on long-term as well as on short-term basis.

Come out with test results-PCR and ELISA at the earliest.

Communicating with your sex partner can be of help, but you taking the test for PCR (instead of her ) will be more accurate and validate.Hence focus only on this.

Review with test reports at the earliest.

Be bold, confident and brave.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.
