default
Posted on Fri, 12 May 2023
Question: Hi how are you? So I recently just finished a six-month dosage of Accutane and it was 20 MG and 30 MG. I’m going on a trip with my friends to the beach and I will be getting my menestrual cycle. I want to take a pill that delays my period such as primolut. Will my pimples and acne come back if I take it?

Brief Answer:
Can occur in some persons.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

There are some persons who do have acne as a result of taking these medications. It does not occur in everyone and unfortunately, the reaction cannot be predicted.

Acne, however, if it is going to occur, does not occur immediately. In some persons, the reaction does not occur till the course has been completed which may be after your trip.

You may not have any reaction at all, cannot be predicted, unfortunately.

I hope this helps.
