Can Musli Power Extra Supplements Be Taken While On Medication For Seizures?

Question: Sir. I am a patient of epylipsy (two attacks) I am undergoing treatment for the same. Can I take musli power xtra now. I have been using it for the last three years. Pl advise. Thanks.

First, what were the seizure types- What really happened to you? You may be unaware of the sequence of events- but onlookers and family/friends may know. So please let me know that.
Second. What is the medicine you are on? What dose? How regular are you?
Third, When did you have the seizure? Did you have any seizure after starting medicines? If yes, had you forgotten to take medicines prior to the seizure?
Fourth, when was the last seizure you had?
Fifth, your age?
Sixth, why do u want to take this medicine- musli power xtra?

Here is the info. You wanted
First seizure. 09.09.2015
Second seizure. 15.01.2017
Both the times I passed away.when I woke up I found myself in ICU

After the first seizure I was regularly on medication for about seven months. After that istopped taking medicines since I was feeling alright. Both the times I wa luckily at home. I am sending a list of medicines I am taking now.
The last seizure I had was on 15.01.2017. I was not under any medication.

My age is65 yrs
I take musli power extra forerectile dysfunction. One capsule a day

Thanks for the information.
I would like to have seen the MRI report. A clip of it was uploaded in the discharge summary.
Anyways, your medication for seizures should continue.
While I could not read the full report, it seemed to show some brain changes.
Usually that means that the seizure medicines should not stop.

As for XXXXXXX Power extra, there is no official work up on the information that you seek.
However, this medicine is known to increase circulation of blood.
Sometimes that may lead to seizure.

In my experience, the medicine has not caused seizures in most patients.
However, as I explained before, it may sometimes cause the seizure.
Therefore, as of now, I would suggest that you stop the medicine for the time being like 1 to 2 weeks.
Thereafter, you may start the medicine again.
Try to be at home after you restart the medicine for 2-3 days.
Thereafter it should be fine.

So called ALLOPATHIC medicines that may help you are
Sildenafil,
testosterone replacement,
Alprostadil,
papaverine.
However, each one of them have their own effects and needs to be monitored.
