Brief Answer:
Januvia causes pancreatitis

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for asking on HCM!
There are several cases of pancreatitis caused by januvia. The symptoms of pancreatitis are;
-Severe upper abdominal or left upper quadrant burning pain radiating to the back, nausea, and vomiting that is worse with eating.
If you have this kind of pain and are under treatment with januvia you should seek medical help because the situation may agravate within few hours.
If the pain is chronic and persists with the same intensity than another cause should be tried to find out.
Hope the information will help.
Kind Regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
