Can Hydrocortisone Intake Be Stopped Abruptly?
Question: I have been taking Hydrocortisone aceate 25mg supositories for internal Hemorroids
1 at night. . I want to stop taking these. can I just stop or do I have to ween off them.o do they affect the Nplate shot I take for my chronic ITP

Topical steroids are unlikely to precipitate adrenal crisis on suddenly stopping them.
If the symptoms related to Hemorrhoids like bleeding has reduced then you can definitely stop Hydrocortisone.
I would also suggest you long term plan for management of hemorrhoid and preventing their recurrence
1. Plenty of oral fluids: Ensure good intake of water 2 to 3 liter a day
2. High fiber diet : Consuming food high in fibre is one if factor which helps in healing and preventing recurrence of hemorrhoid. Individual with any gradr of hemorrhoid consume greater than 100 gms of fibre per day have 70 percent reduction in symptoms.
3. Avoid Oily and spicy food
