Hydralazine can cause peripheral edema which refers to the build up of fluid in the legs.

This means that it is possible that it is contributing to any swelling that you may be experienced

Swelling in the legs can also be related to : (1) venous disease eg varicose veins
(2)heart, kidney or liver disease
(3)trauma
(4)infection
(5)arthritis- many different types of arthritis eg osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, scleroderma, septic

These may have to be ruled out if you have any symptoms related to any of them.

Your doctor would rule them out based on your history of all symptoms, examination and any necessary investigations
