Can Dolo And Amoxycillin Be Taken During Pregnancy?

Question: My wife is 13 weeks pregnancy lady. She is suffering from fever. Doctor suggest dolo 650 & amoxycillian 500. Shall we take these tablets and please tell me time gap for tablet taken.

she took those tablets at 6.00 PM IST and took dolo 650 at 12.45 AM only

Hi, yes you can give both amoxycillin and dolo 650 now.
Keep a 8 hour difference in dose of amoxycillin and 6 hour difference in dolo tablets.
In case fever continues even after 5 doses of antibiotic (amoxycillin) then visit your gynecologist again.

Thanks for your response doctor. Still the fever not stopped. I took blood test and urinal test. The test result is given below,

Haematology :
Plateient count (plt) : 158000 cells/cmm

Serology:
C Reactive protein (CRP) : 96.0 Mg/L

Urine analysis:

Color          : XXXXXXX
Appearance      : Turbid
Reaction     : Alkaline
Protein (Albumin): Nil
Glucose (sugar) : nil

Microscopy:

Pus cells / HPF      : 2-4
RBC's / HPF          : Nil
Epithelial Cells /HPf     : 6-8
Casts & crystals      : Amorphous phosphate seen
Others                : Nil

Please help, let us know the name of the fever type.

She needs to visit a physician as soon as possible and don't take it lightly .
She needs change of antibiotics and proper examination.
In my opinion give her cefuroxime axetil twice a day for at least 3 days.
