Question: My mom is an 85 yr old woman who cant take asprin now my dad bought an over the counter generic cough medicine which has dextromethorphan and doxylamine is it ok for her to take it

aspirin allergy or other problems (like G6PD deficiency) have no relation to the ingredients of this medicine (dextromethorphan and doxylamine in particular) and there is no aspirin in it. She can take it.
