Can Cilostazol Cause Swelling In The Leg?

Question: I started taking clostazol 5 days ago and my legs are swelling ,should i discontinue the medication.?Mye-mail address is YYYY@YYYY

Pleas let me know if there is a period of time i am expected to experience this pain or is a side effect that i should know what to do?

Dear Ms, I have gone through your question and I can understand your concerns

But unfortunately, leg swelling is a common side effect of Cilostazol.. I would recommend that you stop the medication and inform this to your doctor to give you a replacement prescription for Pentoxifylline which has the same action as Cilostazol but probably won't cause such side effect...
