The dermatitis is along my bottom lip line and fleers up after I eat any meal. I went to the doctor and was told to use CORTIC-DC 1% Cream but used this for 3 weeks and there has been no change. My doctor also told me to get the Bepanthen to help with dry lips, this worked and I don't have dry lips anymore so I thought I would try the Bepanthen on the rash along my bottom lip line?

This kind of dermatitis is usually caused due to constant habit of lip licking or usage of different lipsticks or tooth pastes/mouth wash and other allergens.
Since its been three weeks. I suggest kindly consult a dermatologist. If it is indeed dermatitis then the steroid cream may need to be stopped. Instead macrolide group of topically applied medications like Topical Erythromycin ointment( twice daily) gives speedy recovery. Donot lick your lips. Keep your lips always hydrated with Bepanthen cream. Most perioral dermatitis heal by itself in few months.
