Welcome to XXXXXXX !
I am Dr. Prasad Akole (http://bit.ly/Dr-Prasad-Akole) and am glad to answer your query.

You seem to have allergic rhinitis and asthma and it is treatable.
However I need to know if the eosinophil count is absolute eiosinophil count and what is the eosino %.
Also the normal range for IgE level for the reporting lab ( as levels vary across labs).

A high eosinophil count and high Ig E levels of antibodies dealing with allergy indicate an allergic cause.
your eosino count is not very high. Are you on treatment already?

Please get evaluated and treated by your physician accordingly. you will need anti-allergic medication, probably a short term steroid and mast cell stabilizers.
I hope this answers your concerns.
Would be glad to reply to your further query.

Thanks for the info !

This does not answer my question about the reference levels of your lab.

The medicines you are on are appropriate for the nasal symptoms.
But if you also have wheeze from asthma/ allergic airway disease, you may need bronchodilator-steroid inhaled therapy.

This can be determined by your doctor after examining you and see if there is wheezing.
Has an Xray chest been done?

It would greatly help if you could upload any reports/images here using the uploading service available on this site just below the text box. You can email the reports / photos to

I hope this helps. Thank you.
