Brief Answer:
Herpes can be diagnosed

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Herpes infection can be identified by a photograph, while it is difficult to diagnose yeast infection of vagina by it, as it requires proper vaginal examination and vaginal swab examination for making a diagnosis.
However, burning all over the vulva, discharge, redness, swollen vagina are more in favour of yeast infection ( candidiasis), however red bumps or lesions on genital lesions are present in herpes.
Hope you found the answer helpful. Please do get back to me with the photograph, of feasible.
Wishing you good health.

Brief Answer:
likely candidiasis of vagina

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX, thanks for responding. The photograph shows thick white discharge and redness in the vulval area. No lesions suggestive of herpes are present.
It is most likely to be a vaginal candidiasis infection. It can be confirmed by a vaginal swab examination.
Hope you found the answer helpful. Please do get back for further queries.
Wishing you good health.
