Question: Is it okay to take Pancreatin digestive enzymes (which contain lipase, amylase, and protease) to treat elevated lipase labs?

pancreatic enzymes - as medication/supppements -are usually prescribed for patients with chronic pancreatitis and/or non-functioning pancreas.

Do not take this medicine unless your treating doctor feels it's requirement.

Okay. My natural doctor did prescribe it. I was wanting a second opinion. What treatments are generally given for overproduction of Lipase? Also, I'm noticing that the over-production of Lipase is causing tachychardia, why is this?
