Detailed Answer:

Hello,

All these three findings are called soft markers.

Alone if they exist by themselves, they can cause no problems in the child. However, sometimes they are part of larger syndromes or complex abnormalities. Since the Amniocentesis is normal, it is a positive sign.

Ultrasound does not show abnormalities of any other organ systems. Hemivertebra may cause some spinal issues with posture and shape. You should be prepared for minor issues but right now there is no finding that suggests a major issue.

Hope I have answered your query. Please feel free to discuss further. All the best.

Hi,

The bones of the vertebra are covered by skin, but if the problem is severe, it can lead to posture abnormalities that can be visible.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi,

It is not severe. It would lead to mild postural abnormalities, that could be mostly corrected with exercise and physiotherapy.

Hope I have answered your query.
