Androgen receptors are developed at birth itself, it is always present in our body. It does not develop after androgen starts secreting in the body. It only gets activated once the androgen is released.

Hello,

I was referring to period 2year to 10 years - the juvenile phase. Do the gonads still secrete androgens during this so called ' quiescient' period?
