Brief Answer:
cyst

Detailed Answer:
My Dear,
Thanks for sending your query to us.
If a cyst is formed now, this should have been treated well 4weeks back,as it is a infection of glands at the lid margin, antibiotics and hot compresses should have been used and would have brought the desired results.
Now as there is no pain those measures have no role.
Any eye drop had no role then also as glands open at lid margin where eye drops do not reach.
what youcan do now is to massage antibiotic ointment at the base of eyelashes daily at bed time for a period of 4to 6 weeks, this may help to resolve the cyst and we may avoid a surgery.
Please do get back to me in case of any further query in this regard.

Hi
Thanks for your response,
I went to my GP four weeks ago when my eyelid first went red and went swollen it was like this for a week my GP gave me one weeks of antibiotics, then i went back and now been of fusidic acid drops for three weeks?
How long do they take too disapear completely ??

I was worried in case it was some eye lid cancer,

But you have reassured me now

If it does not go whats tge surgery? Will i be awake? Do cysts like this mormally form this quite far back of the eye?

Brief Answer:
cyst

Detailed Answer:
My Dear,
Thanks for getting back to us.
these cysts are relatively common and mostly resolve on their own so we allow them some time.Waiting for the cyst to
resolve may take2to 3 months and in the mean time you will see some regression. This cyst if left on its own will not lead to any complication.
The surgery ,if needed is a 5mt. procedure and you are supposed to immediately walk back home.It is a very minor procedure.

Detailed Answer:
My dear,
Thanks for getting back to us.
I have seen the photographs now and the cyst is smaller than i anticipated. There is absolutely no reason for you to worry.Antibiotic ointment daily at bed time for a few weeks and should start showing improvement. These do not progress even if you do not treat them. Do not worry.

Detailed Answer:
My Dear,
Thanks for getting back to us.
Using drops is equelant to no tt as these glands open at the lid margin, that is where ointment is to be applied at bed tome,so that at night with body temperature ointment melts and may percolate into the gland and be effective, this is one theory how it works.
Drops work on the surface of eye ball and are not effective in these situationsThese glands are called moebian glandsFor surgery, lid is everted, small XXXXXXX is given and the contents are scooped out and eye is patched,a total of 3-5mt job.
Do not worry, get an antibiotic eye ointment ,that will be more effective.
Any further query in this regard,do get back to me.
