Are Beclomethasone And Flucort Advisable For Alopecia Areata?
Question: hi, i am suffering with alopecia areata. Doctor has prescribed me to use beclomethasone cream and flucort c. he told me to mix both the cream in equal proportion and apply it on the scalpe and on face.

I have noted your concerns.
I would like to share guidelines that should work best in most patients of Alopecia Areata
1 For small and few patches, it is preferable to use a moderately potent steroid locally.
Both Beclomethasone or Flucort are used for this. Using one of them would give at least an equally good control over the situation than mixing both. Individual experiences can vary just report to the doctor.
2 steroids injections in the lesions like Tricort work well generally, especially if the technique is aligned with the patient needs
3 Folica solution as an hair stimulant is another useful agent for use in this condition.
It would be good if the pics of affected areas are passed on to give greater insight into the problem.
