Brief Answer:
Post menopausal bleeding

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
At 72 years of age, already into menopause, if are experiencing vaginal bleeding then it would need to be investigated for possible cervical or endometrial cancer. A UTai infection will not present as vaginal bleeding unless there is evident hematuria accompanied with urination as well indicating a possible bladder stone or calculi.
Nevertheless, you need to get a per speculum examination done with a pap smear along with an ultrasound transvaginal to check for endometrial hyperplasia as well.
Please visit your gynaecologist for an evaluation in detail.
