Thank you Dr. Pottinger! My doctor's nurse reassured me that I wouldn't have any problems due to the flu shot, but I guess she was wrong. Your comment that food poisoning would have been more severe made sense to me. I'm not sure I've ever even had the flu, so I never bother to take flu shots. However, my doctor encourage me to take the shot, so out of respect for him I did so. I still respect him, but I don't think I'll take the shot next year!
