It is not necessary that the test must be positive for ZN stain. Type of histological changes can also give a clue to the diagnosis of TB. The most common cause is reactive lymphadenopathy but if the lymph nodes are matted multiple enlarging and not responding to antibiotic it may be due to tuberculin infection. Do complete blood count, chest xray, ESR, USG neck & abdomen/pelvis Infections is most common cause for lymphadenopathy as in your case wisdom tooth
