HI there thanks for posting your query at HCM Symptoms of lung disease include dyspnea( painful breathing and difficulty in breathing), wheezing (loud breathing), pain in the thorax , grunting, increased or decreased respiratory rate, shallow breathing , difficulty in breathing while lying down. . excessive coughing , excessive sputum production , purulent sputum

doctor1 MD

Hi i read your query and would like to say that it's not necessary a severe lung disease. I suggest consulting a pulmonologist for proper evaluation of severity.

doctor1 MD

Hi, dyspnea ("cant' breathe" feeling) needs investigation with clinical examination, chest x-ray and depending on the rest of the findings with blood tests, heart ultrasound (echo) and spirometry. Judging by your age I can say that unless you've got any heart or lung disease or thrombotic tendency, there is no reason to worry because this would be most likely proved to be anxiety. Kind Regards!
