Would Ambien-CR Help With Insomnia While Treating Relapsing Polychondritis In The Right Ear?

I have difficulty falling asleep and staying asleep I am taking Generic Ambiem, I think 5mg and think that the Ambient CR might be a better solution for me,, I had a Radiofrequency Ablation procedure in January and also have recently had surgery to address a VERY large Hydrocele (tennis ball size), I also have Relapsing Polychondritis in my right ear and it may need to be removed with a prosthetic to replace it, it is limited to my right ear,, falling apart, but for now sleeping and staying asleep is the problem, Would Ambien CR help wi this?

Hello,

Ambien SR is having Zolpidem sustained release. It is a newer benzodiazepine group of drug. It is a first choice drug for the treatment of insomnia.

So you can definitely take it. No harm in it. If you still don't improve then better to consult a psychiatrist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
