Why Is The Eye Light Sensitive, Eyelid Swollen And Painful After Curing From Pink Eye ?

My 4 yr old daughter had pink eye 10 days ago, treated with antibiotic drops and pink eye went. But, eye still light sensitive and eyelid swollen. So doc gave her antibiotic medicine which she has finished but eyelid still swollen and bit painful. Any ideas? Sam

Eye lid requires local examination. Look for blepharitis obstructed gland or sty. Treatment should be accordingly given. Combiflam uspention warm compression anti biotic eye ointment canbe given.
