Why Does My Urethra Itches And Stings Inside?

I am a male 24 type 2 diabetic never had sex ever of any kind. My urethra by my head itches inside and stings a bit. I am not sure why but when I ejaculated in my sleep it hurt a bit too in the morning. My urine is clear and my semen is clear or white. I had diabetic ketoacidosis I drink a lot of water take metaformin. Sometimes my kidney s hurt but the penis urethra itching is scarring me? What do I do? How do I take care of it? Is a yeast infection or UTI ?

Hello

Itching in penile urethra may be due to many causes like UTI(urinary tract infection).
Diabetic patients are prone to infection like UTI.

You may need proper clinical examination and routine investigations.
Investigations include routine hemogram,renal function test,ultrasound of abdomen,urine culture/sensitivity.
Nitrite test and leukocyte esterase test can be done for confirmation of UTI.

You may need to take antibiotics.
You should drink plenty of water.
Proper treatment depend upon findings.
