Why Corner Of Left Eyelid Is Black And Blue With No Pain And Swelling??

I woke up with the corner of my left eyelid black and blue. No pain, no swelling and not affecting the eye itself. As the day went on a line extended past my eyelid. Looks like I have eyeliner on...sorta like a Egytian Pharoah look. I don t remember hitting my eye lid.

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having black eyelid without pain and swelling.
This indicates ecchymosis of eyelids because of accumulation of blood under the layers of the skin of the eyelids.
Though injury is the most common cause for it, it can occur spontaneously also and in these cases evaluation should be done to rule out bleeding diseases or systemic diseases like diabetes or hypertension.

Thank you
