Why Am I Seeing Black Brown Lines And Spots Floating In Front Of My Eyes?
i am seeing squiggly black or dark brown lines and spots floating in front of my left eye. first i thought it was a hair in front of my face or some mascara on my eyelash. i thought i had something on my contact lens but after i took them off, i still see the squiggly lines. it looks like someone splashed some black paint in front of me. my right eye is ok. is this something to worry about? i am diabetic taking metforman. feeling a little stressed because i am moving soon and trying to clean up. thank you.
Hello It seems from the history that you are having floating lines in front of the eyes. This is called as floaters and these are found in the diseases of the posterior segment of the eye including vitreous like vitreous degeneration, vitreous detachment and in problems of retina like retinal tear... Since you are known diabetic you require to undergo examination by ophthalmologist for examination of the posterior segment of the eye by indirect ophthalmoscopy.
Thank you
