hi doctor.......i want to know that which eye sight problem is more irritative....cylendrical or spherical....like today i checked my eyesight its 0.75 (cylinderical) of far and my uncle had the same bt of spherical???i will be waiting for ur answer..thanks!

Cylindrical power lenses are prescribed for treatment of astigmatism and spherical power is prescribed for treatment of myopia or hypermetropia, with plus spherical lenses for hypermetropia and minus spherical lenses for myopia.
The astigmatism will cause more symptoms because of distortion of the image they produce, hence cylindrical power lens will cause more problems than spherical power of lenses of same power.
