What To Do For Nausea, Migraines, Lightheaded, Huge Appetite Caused After Having Nexplanon?

Hello My name is Kendra. I have had Nexplanon since this past July, and I always feel nauseous and get more migraines than usual, gained 34 pounds and have a huge appetite..but the thing that bugs me the most is that I keep feeling VERY lightheaded...I stand up and Its a constant feeling that i m going to faint that doesn t go away. even when sitting or laying the feeling is there but not as bad as when I am standing. I was wanting to know if ER could take it out besides I feel absolutely AWFUL and I don t think until my OB can fit me into her schedule?

welcome to HCM!

Your problems are related to the contraceptive nexplanone. Your body is not adjusted to this yet, means that it is better that you get it out and see for some non- hormonal contraceptive device. I am Hope ful that within few days to one - two weeks of taking it out your physical and mood complaints should get solved.
# it is not unusual that a contraceptive leads to such symptoms, so, please donot worry. this will sort out itself once you get rid of it.

Hope with reply is useful
