What Precautions Should Be Taken To Have Effective Weight Loss?

I am currently a 21 year old female 5 ft tall, 262 lbs. I recently starting working out an hour every day, just cardio at the gym. I am trying to only stick to 3 meals a day and watch what I eat. Is there anything else I should be doing? Too young to be Morbidly Obese.

Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

Congrats on your effort to try to lose weight.

You are doing what is needed, increasing your physical activity and monitoring your diet.

Changing dietary habits are very important in losing weight. There are two main diet plans: (1) low fat/low calorie diet
(2)low carb diet

The low carb diet has the faster initial weight loss, though the end weight loss may be the same for both diets.

You should chose the one that best suits you and stick to it.
You can get ideas of recipes for whichever diet and change your meals to suit.
It would be best to avoid eating out to often because unless you can able to order meals within your diet plan.

If you find it difficult to lose weight on your own then you can consider visiting a weight loss doctor or joining an online program.

I hope this helps
