What Is The Treatment For Urinary Tract Infection?
Will a UTI that has lasted 3 weeks, with initial symptoms of burning frequent uriniation, cause damage if not treated with antibiotics? Still have cloudy urine and low grade burning during urination, but not frequent urges to urinate. Have been drinking cranberry juice.
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You have urinary tract infection. You should go for urine routine and microscopic examination. If needed go for culture and sensitivity test. Then you should take antibiotics accordingly. Levofloxacin or norfloxacin can be helpful. It is prescription based drug so consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly. You should also check your blood sugar level because diabetes is the most common factor for UTI. Also go for ultrasound abdomen to check kidney damage due to chronic infection.
