My boyfriend has severe upper arm pain at night only. Never during the day, only at night. Sometimes, he has pain in his waist and hips too - he is 54. I am thinking that maybe it might be his bed, as he is 5 feet 9 inches and only 139 pounds. He was thoroughly checked out by doctors but it is so bad that he can't sleep. No numbness, sincehe started taking B12, but the pain is really horrible. So metimes in his shoulder, but mostly in his upper arms
