What Is The Treatment For Lymes Disease?
I am currently taking 500 mg of amoxicillin twice a day for lyme's disease. I believe I have developed an allergy to the medication because my throat swells and I have trouble breathing about 45 minutes after I take the pill. I don't want to stop taking it and cause the lyme to come back stronger and more resistant, but at the same time I don't want to continue taking it a risk anaphylactic shock.
What should I do? Please help me.

i read your question and understand your concern
if your are allergic to penicillin group and stop taking drug you are taking for lyme disease,and also take some anti allergic for this anaphylactic reaction if you are still having problem and for breathing difficult if still persist take hydro cortisone 100 mg i/v i would suggest to take cefuroxime axetil 500 mg bid for at least 14 days
and also see your doctor
