Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I m 49 and never have any energy even if I work out. my stomach is always queezy and sick by early evening and I can t stay passionate about anything as a result. This is killing my drive to want to do anything even though I plow through somethings. It s killing me. Any thoughts?
Hi, I am Dr. Kaushik. I am a diabetologist and specialist in Preventive Medicine. Thanks for posting your concern in HCM. I think you have been suffering from depressive or anxiety disorder and Irritable bowel Syndrome. But, both of these need further workup to rule out several differential diagnoses. Perform regular exercise or at least walking for 30 min. and maintain good oral hydration. Avoid taking large meals. Take frequent small meals. If you feel drowsy in the daytime, you may also have some sleep disorder. Although, you may be sleeping well at night, the proper sleep cycle may be hampered. Have relaxation sessions and mindfulness exercise. If the condition does not improve in a week or so, consult local gastroenterologist and a psychiatrist or post in HCM for further help. Thanks and regards.
