Hello,

Welcome to HCM
Appreciate your concern for your grand mother.
If she has been having diabetes for long and has been found to have high uric acid, her kidney functions should be checked. Her poor appetite can be because of impairment of kidney function.
As for food advice , let her eat a wholesome diet with grains, vegetables, pulses, fruits, fish and lean white meat. She should avoid foods made of simple sugars and sweets as much as possible as these will elevate her blood sugar. Also she should avoid red meat and organ meat the biggest sources of uric acid. Anchovies, sardines, herring, mackerel, and scallop are better avoided.
If she drinks beer, it is better avoided.
You are welcome, if there are more queries
Wish her good health.
