Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My right groin area hurts when I bend over and there is pressure on the area from my underwear or my shorts. What would that be? There is no lump/bulge, it isn t discolored and it does not hurt to touch or squeeze. It only hurts when I am squatting down and there is pressure on the area. I do not feel it on the other side when I am doing the same motion. Thanks
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
It might be due to some muscle pulls or contractions.
Nothing much to worry and no treatment is required.
If the pain is severe, you can take analgesics like Ibuprofen or Diclofenac.
In case of persistent pain, you can go for an MRI scan to look for any tendon or muscle involvement.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
