What Is The Treatment For Eye Irritation?

hi doc, my daughter is studying for her CA .For past few months her eyes get irritated and her eyes will start watering ,making her study difficult.She sits late night for study and sometimes early morning.But lately now for few weeks her eyes is getting red and she feels as dust is on her eye lids.It is now making impossible for her to study. I took her to a doctor , and she said it is due to dryness and give a drops Tears plus, and gave her glasses of .25 power. But she never got better and that irritated have only increased. So please doctor do tell me how can i help my daughter.

It seems from the history that your daughter is having eye irritation with redness and watering. These symptoms are because of dry eyes as told by your doctor. Since the condition is not responding to treatment with artificial tears, the next options of treatment have to be considered.
The next options are use of anti-inflammatory drugs like cyclosporine, steroids and use of punctal plugs.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
