What Is The Treatment For A Lump In The Buttocks?
Hi, I noticed today a small pain when siting down. Once I got home I went n the bathroom only to discover a small lump between my butt cheeks. I had my room mae take a look and while looking a head apeared and it popped. There was a thick white pus to come out and a clump that was harder than any normal pus. I am in a lot of pain and I have no idea what this could be. Should I. Go to the emergency room because it wasn't there this morning when I washed. It just appeared out of nowhere

You had noticed a lump today at the advanced stage of popping out and has developed underneath the skin over the last few days. The bruise in the butt cheek got infected and got burrowed with infection underneath the skin there. As its deep down with more cellulitis, it's more painful. Treat it with surgeon consultation with antibiotics or anti-inflammatory drugs or hot fomentation for the early resolution of the lump.
After recovery adequate surgical drainage could be needed and would be done if need be by emergency room surgeon. So you should not worry much. So keep cool and consult your emergency room surgeon, if need be, who would treat it accordingly. So don't build up wrong concepts and create more psychic complications in you which would increase risks and costs to you.
