Hello and welcome to HCM,
A lump in the middle of the calf associated with a bruise is suggestive of hematoma formation.
Is there any history of trauma to the leg.
Trauma can lead to internal bleeding, bruising and hematoma formation.
In case there is history of trauma or injury, hot fomentation and pain killers will help to relive the pain and swelling.
In case there is no history of trauma, you need to consult your doctor for clinical assessment and relevant investigations.

Thanks and take care
