What Is The Dose Of Medicine To Be Taken Before Dental Surgery?

HI I AM GOING TO HAVE DENTAL SURGERY TO REMOVE TWO TEETH. I AM SUPPOSE TO TAKE ONE TABLET ONE HOUR BEFORE THE SURGERY AND 4 AFTER I WAKE UP. IS THIS TO MUCH ? IT IS 500 MG. I AD A KNEE REPLACEMENT 8 MONTHS AGO AND THOUGHT THAT MIGHT HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH WHY?

I need to know If you are having any other medical problem in the body or not.based on it I can give opinion on prescription.I would also like to know if you are on any medication other than tooth pain. Is there any medical problem in your parents or family.Do you have allergy to any medication.
