I am a 74year old active male and have just recently started to notice what I will call floating objects most noticeably in my left eye. there are two floating black objects that remain the same distance apart when I move my eyes to the t, up or down and straight ahead. I don't notice them when I move my eyes to my right

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having problem of seeing black moving spots in eyes.
This condition is called as floaters.
These are usually because of age related degenerations affecting the vitreous, a liquid gel which lies behind the lens.
Since you are aged 74 years, these can be because of ageing.
However if you have sudden increase in floaters or association with flashes of light it requires evaluation by eye doctor yo rule out retinal problems.
