What Does Negative ELISA Test Post Sexual Exposure Indicate?

Hi. Hope you are good doctor. I took pep after a sexual exposure for 30 days starting from the day of exposure (6 hours after exposure) . I tested negative using ELISA after 3 months from the exposure date and tested negative rapid test in the 4th month. When is the test conclusive in my case? Thank you in advance

I went through your query!

As you are having dread of contracting HIV infection and got tested for the same it is good to clear the doubt.
But I suggest you must get tested upto 6 months post exposure to be completely sure.
Though there are p24 tests which can detect HIV earlier to antibody based ELISA tests.
