I went to my pain management doctor today and got a referral to go for a urinalysis at an outside lab. I recently started seeing a shrink for panic/anxiety disorder and was put on new meds which I gave to the PA today. The referral CPT code is 80302, ICD 279.899. Under comments it reads 790600. I do not use anything not prescribed by a doctor. Is this usual ? They do frequent urine testing in the office and this is the first time in over a year they haves ent me to a lab.
